Royal With Cheese
Drew_3 If there is a chance we can be crowned champions on saturday, will the trophy be at the stadium or do we have to wait untill the away game at brum?

Don't know.

I would say they will go for balance of probability and the fact it's our last home game and will have the trophy etc at the Mad Stad.

I was wondering this myself and I'd of thought the FL would rather give us it at home than St andrews, but if my calculations are correct, if Saints win tonight, we can't win the title after our game on Saturday, whatever we do. So that would play the FL's hand for them, unless they're willing to call us all back from the pub after the Saints game finishes

Liked Mike Hunt's comments on page 3. I travelled as a Reading supporter last year from Australia to see the Cardiff game then the final at Wembely. The team comes first. Wouldn't gamble on hoping just to go up ONLY when I can be there.
Be there if you can to support the team - not your social life. Come game time you are there for the team, not the team for you.
That was made clear to me by Maurice Evans when I complained about the way the team was playing. Are you going to support the team on game day? Off the field that is when the team supports you and the community.
Can't get there this year - divorced the wife and can't afford it now!!
Don't think she liked me prioritizing the games last year - she supports Leeds
Never mind - it means I get to turn the tv on loud at 4.30 am!
Thanks brother Mike!

I'd like to change it from 1-1 but Maguire won't let me

Mr Optimist
MmmMonsterMunch Just to make everyone that bit more nervous.....we've not beaten Forest at home in 7 years..

True but a little misleading because during that period we went our separate ways for a few seasons, us to the Prem and them to League 1.

Just to settle any nerves and give reason for optimism:

Now Forest are looking to complete a shock double, which would be their first over the Royals in 82 years.

It would just be typical after recording a WWWWW in the "hard" games to make life difficult for ourselves tonight........

My heart says 2-0, but my head says 1-1

I am going to go 2-0 as we seem to be so damned professional at this now.

Forest are in a massively false position though.

Right.

The Prisoner My heart says 2-0, but my head says 1-1

My head says 2-0 (tough game) maybe nick 3-0 late, but my gut says 1-1,
I just don't expect us to finish with all wins (and I DO expect us to beat Palace.)

But we are under less pressure now, so tho' I stick with 1-1,
I now don't think there's much of a chance of losing it
(which I did when i posted 1-1)

The Prisoner I am going to go 2-0 as we seem to be so damned professional at this now.

You're probably right.

The Prisoner Forest are in a massively false position though.

They will probably be top six next year or close, big club, good manager.

Just seen the forest team coach. There were absolutely no smiles, everyone's sat facing forward expressionless and they are swiftly approaching the Madejski charging through traffic as we speak. They look like they mean absolute business tonight and are not in the mood for a party.

Focus Reading, focus.

I think it is going to be a 3-1 win, but we need to focus if we do win.

1-1.

The only even slightly worrying outcome would be a defeat for us and a win for WHU. We'll beat Palace to win promotion.
