Norfolk Royal Best complaint I've seen was the bloke who said the pitch was a bit slippery.

There was another bloke moaning the hotel wouldn't let him in for a drink after the game.

Errr, yes, it's a hotel with guests who probably had nothing to do with the football. The primary responsibilty of the hotel staff is to protect and make happy their paying customers.

My guess is that doesn't include allowing thousands of football fans to invade it and throw beer around. There are other places for that.

Are you being serious??!

The hotel is happy to take supporters money before and after the match serving beers in plastic glasses for £4+ a pint during the rest of the season. Currently it works like this - the hotel "lets" thousands of football fans in on matchdays to boost coffers and serve pre-match food and beers. Primarily because Strokers, sorry Shooters, the originally planned supporters club bar ended up being half the size originally intended and is therefore woefully inadequate for the number of people that may want to drink there before or after a match. The hotel has sort of filled this need.

Typically on a match day the hotel is happy to take your money for an hour or two either side of the game but stay beyond 6pm on a Saturday and you feel like Cinderella, going from a valued customer to something on the bottom of their shoe that they need to get off the premises again so as not to make the place look scruffy for the non-football related visitors.

I think the fact is was gone 10.30pm too might have something to do with it.....imagine trying to get 1000's out half hour after letting them in

My complaint is that thanks to the celebrations last night, I was too busy concentrating on whispering "We are going up! We are going up!" as I entered the house and looking forward to reliving the final moments on Sky, when in fact I should have realised that my car keys were in the pocket of my coat, which I had left in the said car, which was locked with the spare Mr Star still has in his pocket on a course in Ipswich where he is uncontactable.

Probably worth it though.

Looking forward to Floyd and all the moaners being back to moan their way through the Premier League.

floyd__streete - What kind of a night is a Tuesday evening for a promotion party? I feel about as awake as Epimenides. Typically ill-thought-out nonsense from Reading FC.

- Just how long did it takes to get onto the bloody pitch from the back of the East Stand. Infuriating.

- Where were you all at Barnet away in the LDV 10 years ago, hmmmm?

Happy days. This is brilliant for everyone with Reading FC in their blood and my heartfelt thanks go to all the players and staff at the club for their dedication and professionalism. We have 10 days of the season left for lording it, followed by some sort of open top bus bant and then a brilliant summer of sport to get us in the mood for Stoke away in August. Lovely stuff.

Big plus from last night was Floyd singing 'clappers are for oxf*rd' ... whilst clapping away on one.

One of the best things about last night, tbf, was sitting in the stands LOL'ing at people who could barely keep up with themselves in an effort to get on the pitch, only to stack it as soon as they got onto the wet turf.

I am fed up with people slating off other fans 'You werent there when we lost to so and so in 1983' and all this crap about 'part-time fans'

If it wasnt for the fans there wouldnt be a club for us to support. It doesnt matter how often our supporters come to watch, its the fact they come!

yes some fans only come when we are doing well but i would rather them come then than not come at all.

shut up, celebrate and appreciate all the fans that spend there hard earned money on supporting our club! No matter how many or how few games they go to!

We are in the premier league, lighten the oxf*rd up!

In between driving down to Reading earlier in the day and then taking exactly the same route home at about 11pm it seemed like there had been an invasion of traffic cones.

M4, A34, A43 and M1 all with lane closures on the way back to Leicester. I looked on it as a blessing as I could listen along to BBCRB on the DAB radio and feel closer to my home town.

The DAB lost it's signal at Oxford so I turned over to talksport to hear Brian McDermott saying cherio
and the next guest being introduced as Snookers No1, Mark Selby from Leicester! :|

In fairness to my whinge, I was more put out that my mates had been let in 5 minutes before and they had then moved the goalposts. I was one of a number of people (some quite old) sat outside waiting for 30 minutes for their lift / family / friends to come out!

I appreciate their reasons, but surely you make an announcement beforehand or make sure you don't let anyone in?

+ I also really wanted a pint!!!!

My head hurts - I think it's tiredness - so I might have a drink in a minute to try and soothe it....

Last night some beardy weirdy sat next to me second half and offered me a strepsil. I suspect it was to stop me from shouting and singing.

Love ya Mr Rouge!
