Surely you would only need half as many programmes as one programme could be used for two teams. There's cost savings right there. 8)

They are showing a match on the last day (advantage of having flu is you can check the planner). Just says MOTD Live:Last Day so it probably depends on what the Spanners do tonight as to what game they show.

No need to be like that.

Wonder if we'll see any more pitch invasions on Saturday. Brizzle had one for being slightly less shit than three other teams, so maybe if Middlesbrough sneak in the play offs we'll see a couple of fans (literally) mob their squad at the Riverside.

Instead of the football league show, there should be 'The Championship' with extended coverage of purely the championship, followed by 'The Football League' which just shows the goals from each game with a quick analysis after 5/10 matches. I think it's f*cking terrible that we have not been on the beeb once since they have had rights, it's not like we're a Scunthorpe or a Doncaster, a play-off final followed by winning the title says we should be top of the list for a live game.

Whereas I quite enjoy 3pm Saturday football.

You'll have a blast next season.

Whore Jackie How on earth did Ian Payne find himself relegated to summarising the 5 second highlights on the FL show?

Because he is seriously crap - Sunday kept going on about the fact that JR is on loan at Reading

Mr Angry Even the Football League Show on Saturday was, er, muted about us.

Ok, they started with Legs' goal to win us promotion, but I would have thought the natural narrative would have been to show our game v Palace first, which would lead to the Saints game, their loss and then the fact that meant we were Champions.

Instead, they first went into the Saints game (with the classic line about "West Ham have a real chance now of getting 2nd!!" ), followed by our goals and Roberts' red card, and the merest of nods in our direction as to us winning the Championship; as Manish put "I suppose you have to say well done to Reading....."

Good riddance to a crap programme.

Actually it was the Saints game, followed by Bristol City v Barnsley then the goals from our game, followed by Manish trying to kiss our arse but remain "unbiased" but Clarriage playing it down and saying "they had great momentum" then on to the next set of games.

They didn't even put a "C" next to our name on the league table. Idiots.

What?

I'm saying we'd been made Champions that evening yet when we were shown on the league table- we didn't have the C next to us. Charlton did. :|

They did at the end of the Championship segment, but not at the very end of the show.

I quite like the fact that we're still under everyone's radar.

Our U-boat approach has enabled us to take our own route through the choppy waters of the Championship without the pressure of avoiding others battleships.
In fact, it's meant we've crept up on them, torpedoed their runs, and in the case of WHU, holed them below the waterline.

More likely they would show one of the teams down the lower end of the play offs or soton's game.
