Wouldn't mind seeing Obita on the bench.

Federici - has to play to get every minute under his belt
Griffin - he's started 9 games, don't you have to do 10 to get a medal?
Mills - I'd like to see him get a chance to show what he's got again, before the season ends.
Pearce - see Federici's reason.
Gorkss - Don't want too many changes in defence and it's not like Morrison's played much of a part anyway.
Tabb - also on 9 league starts I think, so same as Griff.
Ledge - crucial to our team and the man who put us up.
McAnuff - club captain, must play
Robson-Kanu - don't want to risk Kebe unnecessarily and gives HRK a chance to prove something.
ALF - due a start
Hunt - don't want to see too many changes.

McCarthy, Gunnarsson, Harte, Church, Afobe.

I'd bring on Church and Gunnar for certain. And try and give Afobe another run out too.

I don't expect the team to look anything like this.

Snowball
HoneyRoastHoax I would really mix it up, give Alf his 90 but this is prime time, the squad needs adding to and this is the right time to test some of the ones hes not sure about. Birmingham are a decent squad, if they can't cut it there they shouldn't be in the prem.

There is no pressure, sorry for everyone going but I would like to see the fringe players all in.

At least if they play cr*p here when Brian lets them move on they will feel like they had a shot at it. Hopefully a couple will rise to the occasion.

Alf has started 16 games, and the earliest goal he's scored is the 57th minute

It's about the SQUAD

Start Church, bring on Alf around 60 minutes

After 16 games i think our entire squad had scored 1 goal before the 57th minute.

Not in this league. In the Premier League you have to make 10 appearances, in the Championship everyone who played gets one (luckily for Michael Dobson, Scott Golbourne, John Halls...). I think both leagues allow the club to buy more medals if they wish.

Excellent news. I'd probably switch out a few of those for youngsters then. And I'd bring on McCarthy and stick Federici upfront for the last 15.

Mike Hunt Wouldn't mind seeing Obita on the bench.

This, plus wasn't Ledge's knee heavily strapped? Perhaps we'll see Jobi in the middle with Mullins, HRK on the right and Hunt on the left with Church and Alf up front? I'd rather see Afobe/Obita/Gunnarsson get a run, but I don't think that's McD's style

Because Birmingham's position is not absolutely settled, it would be disrespectful to the opposition to not set up the team to try and win, and I can't see McDermott doing that. So I can see fringe players only used to replace players who are injured. but the strongest available team still being put out

I think it will be a mixture with ALF and Afobe upfront and Church replacing Afobe after 65 minutes. HRK on left (obviously).

Would like to see Cywka, Mullins and Afobe given a go, just as a 90-minute "play for your contract" performance for next season. But then with the 25 player limit in the PL we may see them leave (this doesn't apply to Afobe as he's under 21).

--------------------Federici-----------------
Cummings----Pearce----Gorkss----Harte
Cywka---Leigertwood---Mullins---McAnuff
----------------Afobe-----Hunt--------------

Subs: McCarthy, Tabb, Le Fondre, HRK, Church

However I expect Le Fondre and HRK to start in place of Afobe and Cywka.

I have a feeling they won't ask Ledge or Tabb to play any more matches with their injuries although that leaves us short in central midfield. Pretty sure they will have already decided not to offer a contract to Cywka so if we have enough of our own players he might miss out.

Am assuming it will be Mullins and Jobi in the centre and have a feeling Hunt might start out wide and then one of Church or Afobe to partner Alf. The usual back four unless Harte is still carrying the injury from Good Friday.

Federici

Cummings Pearce Gorkss Harte

Hunt McAnuff Mullins HRK

Afobe/Church Le Fondre

Subs McCarthy Mills (if fit) Gunnarsson Obita Afobe/Church

Now the title is secured I'd be very surprised if Leigertwood or Tabb plays. Still don't think there will be as many changes as some are suggesting:

Federici

Cummings
Gorkks
Pearce
Harte

Afobe
Mullins
Cyfka/Gunnarsson
McAnuff

Hunt
Le Fondre
