Maquisard :D

Well, Steve Death was short ... and only had two arms

Looks like Tabb may have three arms and three legs!

I didn't make it to the stadium. Can people who were there say what the atmosphere was like. There doesn't appear to have been a massive turn out.

Everyone was really down beat and there was loads of booing in anticipation of the takeover not going through and us being relegated with a record low points haul. What do you think the bloody atmosphere was like? We were lifting the blinkin' trophy!

Decent turnout... I'd guess around 12k - 14k.

It looked like at least 14,000 turned up.

The atmosphere was good but would have been better if it wasn’t for the non-stop loud music blaring out; it was hard to get any songs going.
The players were out there for ages wondering in all directions so many people left before they had finished which may be why it looked like there weren't many there in some photos, it was a good turn out considering the weather (the sun coming out actually got a pretty loud cheer).

I meant noise levels/chanting more than anything.

Exactly what you'd expect... no game with anything riding on it, so hard to get too excitable. Lots of clapping, a fair amount of noise at key points, otherwise just a general glow of appreciation and satisfaction. IMO.

Great stuff...thanks for all of the wonderful pics. Not even the rain could dampen the fun. Wish I was there.

Considering the shocking weather it was a very good turn out. I would say it was 3/4 full which is not bad just to see a trophy lifted.
I thought the club and the town did a good job, shame about the weather.

Just seen Brian's interview on the bus, he seems genuinely amazed and pleased by the number of people who turned out... both him and Madejski say they weren't expecting many people at all because of the weather.

Also: Noel Hunt is a comedy genius, and Alex Pearce is an absolute Legend - loved his reactions and dancing. Thoroughly deserved PoTS.

What an outstanding Academy we have that its produced two of the top three for PoTS this year. And the third was a nobody who no one else would give a chance to. :D

And our last 3 PoTS have all played for our U18's or below, pretty good going.
