Just got a text from the same guy who told me about Cywka and the TSI deal going through this week - pretty aces signing if this latest one goes through. We'll see.

My mate thinks we've made an offer for Palacios from Stoke as well as O'hara from Wolves.

Probably rubbish.

I can categorically confirm that I have received no texts and do not have any sources at the club.

I am also unconcerned as to who the alleged mystery signing actually is. I will be happy with whoever the club thinks is an exciting signing to make. Unless it's Matt Mills. In which case I will sulk for a month.

So assuming Matt Mills is out then it must be one or all of

Long
Gylfi
Bertrand
Drogba

anyone like to make a guess?

From what I can infer from Getreading it looks like it could be Robin Friday.
That would certainly be a turn up for the books.
I can't believe that Jonny Fordham would be writing about him for any other reason on such a momentous day.
