What an AWFUL draw.

Wanted a fun trip somewhere low down the ladder where we have either not been to before or for a long while. We get one of 4 Championship sides we could have got out of a potential 26 opponents, a side which easily turned over our first team not so long back and who will presumably similarly turn over our reserves with comfort this time around. Stinker of a draw, which also pits us against a side we have played loads of times in this competition before in any case.

In the words of Barry Fry: "I f*cking hate cup competitions"

Ian Royal Cambridge, but I'm not sure what league Cambridge are in

Don't you live in Cambridge? I am surprised for someone who devotes so much time discussing football you are so ignorant about the club on your doorstep  . Sure, Reading are 'your' team but if I moved away as far as you have I think I'd show a little more interest in the local team's fortunes 8) .

Noted re: Norwich away. If I see you there I will actually batter you, given the jinx-factor of spotting/talking to you at away games.

You really like football in general. I only have a passing interest in football outside of supporting Reading. I've been to a Cambridge Utd game. It was fecking terrible. I think they're conference, but they could have got promoted without me noticing.

If you see me at Norwich, you're welcome to try and batter me. But I know you're just a foghorn voiced softy really so I reckon if I offer to buy you a beer you'll forget all about it.

Pretty much this. He's threatened to batter me more than once but has been subdued at the prospect of receiving a free drink, the alcoholic c*nt that he is.

I can't book my ST seat. It's got a nice big R over it and no option to book it.
