That I know of there have been 4 goalkeeping blunders already in the Prem this season

Anyone know of others?

Two by Feds, one by Green, one today for West Ham v Swansea.

There may have been others, of course, but I can think of these four without trying

Is it a new ball acting strangely?

Plus Cech against us. Nothing in those five errors that has looked odd, all just howlers.

I've seen numerous Chelsea sites calling for a Cech replacement, so we aren't' alone in reacting to two games.

For better or probably worse.

Seems a lot of howlers, was my point.

Several more goalkeeping errors on MOTD. I don't remember so many in a short period. Is it a different ball this season?

At least Feds didn't make any errors at Sunderland

I thnk it is the ball too, having watched some of MOTD, there were a few basic errors from much better goalkeepers than Feds.

This. Beats me tho' why they can't have test for footballs so they meet standards.

Is there a set PSI for the ball. It does sound a little silly but can presumably affect performance.

Nothing about the ball can account for De Gea getting nowhere near that cross for Fulham's second.

Why so? Surely if the ball's flight is different?

Nit saying it it, but it doesn't have to only be "wobbles"

Interesting point. Maybe it is the new ball, which keepers aren't used to yet, which is contributing to all the howlers. I think teams should be allowed to practice with the new ball before the season starts (if that isn't already the case). That's what they would do in Germany - remember when they practiced with the new ball in the Bundesliga prior to the world cup in South Africa, but England couldn't do this due to their contract with Umbro? We defo need more common sense in our game.

Given's was soooooo bad it looked deliberate. I don't think that, De Gea's or Feds' first had much to do with movement of the ball. Just shit ness. Fed's second and Cech's could be down to ball movement.

Yeah, Fed's second dipped quite a lot which might have fooled him. Maybe the new ball dips more, who knows.

I was in the north tonight and both goals were Feds fault. First went under him ala Chelsea game and the 2nd went under him at the near post (again)

Stick with him or swap him out?!

If he hasn't shown significant improvement by West Brom... stick him in a woodchipper.

Stick. The break will do him good.
