Who has earned their start on Saturday? Shorey has consolidated, Jem has put in a real challenge and Cummings solid. Kebe maybe wasn't match sharp; would you put him straight back in ahead of McCleary?

This could be the boost the team needs; a win against Newcastle and you'd really think our season was taking shape with Norwich and Swansea coming up. On the other hand, a poor QPR team and the spectre of no league win remains, no matter how good the result.

Some absolutely stonking goals in this game. Poor defending from us with Cummings diving in and getting twinkletoesed by Hoilett with a cracking finish. Cisse given acres of room outside the box but a phenominal shot.

Great Fk from Shorey for Gorkss to put in a really good header. Great Fk from Shorey to score, better than any I've seen from Harte and that's a pretty outstanding standard to beat. Greak goal from Pog, cheeky little back heel squeezed in at the near post. And then an absolutely stunning save from the keeper for the penalty.

Brian likes a good cup win to get his league results going.

Has to be against a decent PL team though... hopefully QPR qualify.

This. Normally it comes in the FA cup which means we step it up from January. Could start a good run early!

Ascotexgunner Bang goes my early night :D

Those male strippers going to keep you awake?

What is the story on that?

Tony Cottee was commenting on it on SSN, he said that when the penalty was awarded, two guys ran onto the pitch and started stripping off their clothes. But they stopped at their shorts before they were wrestled off the pitch. Tony Cottee was relieved that they didn't get that far as would have put him off his (lateish) dinner. Then the penalty taker missed the penalty.

Shame that they went onto win 6-1. :( I h8 Arsenal. And I don't like you already.

Tbf QPR put a very strong side out tonight. Was slightly worried about a possible tonking when I saw the team sheet

Really think Saturday is big. Liverpool and Swansea away is really daunting off the back of another league defeat. Win and we can play with more freedom at Anfield and then have a real go at a Swansea team who aren't looking great since their destruction of QPR.

Williams and Gooding are very good at erasing it from theirs.
