Actually no it doesn't if you've got barely any cash to spend. The gulf between the championship & PL is huge...Especially when you consider your squad was probably not technically good enough to win the league & did it by grit & determination. That can only get you so far.

Yeah, Spend, Spend, Spend! We should scrap the Academy as well, it's not as if they're doing well this season is it? We could spend the money we're wasting on that shower on some 30+ year old journeyman who wants £50k a week. We might even be able to finish mid-table then or play in the Europa League against the champions of Kazakhstan every 3 or 4 years. In fact, let's bring in 'arry as manager! Then we can get some Eastern Europeans off the back of a Lorry must make sure we've got enough envelopes to pay the agents with though.
