Gorkes brilliant last year but is out of his depth at this level sadly.

Gorkks did a great job tackling our own players on Saturday, really got stuck in

Both Gorkss and Gunter are really strong candidates but who keeps selecting them? Who sent the team out after half-time half asleep again? And who messed up the substitutions?

McDermott has to take the award this week.

St. Brynjar Congrats to Nick Blackman for continuing his pedigree in this award.

If you don't want to be labelled as a shitty striker then fucking do some striking, eh?

Skinned the fullback a few times, help it up better than Alfie could in a wet dream. Jeered by clueless mongs.

Not sh1t either, just not a top-half Championship striker.

Blackman <> Church.

RFC "Fans" on twatter actually saying they hate Blackman!

I'm pretty sure the fella is trying and he knows he's not Messi but he's in the squad and trying.

You all know strikers need confidence so maybe try not jeering him.

Poor bloke.

This could turn into a season long battle between Pog & Blackman, but with former champions Leigertwood and McAnuff on the mend this could be a very close run competition each week!

I've not been a fan of Blackman but thought he had a pretty decent game last night and gave him genuine applause (as did a lot of people) when he was subbed last night.

He won a lot of headers, held the ball up well, got in good positions, made some good runs both on and off the ball and fired over some good crosses. I thought playing on the right was his preferred position and where he was most effective at Sheff Utd.

don't take the anger out on Blackman, Adkins picks the team
if he's told he's playing he aint gonna say 'actually, I don't think i'm good enough'
its clear nige still doesn't know his best midfield and forwards, but at least the back 5 seem nailed on at the moment

He did some things well and some other things not very well at all. Sadly for him, we are team who should be fielding players who do things well more often than not.
