In all honesty it doesn't matter. They are both still going down.

We are 100% fooked. With the Villa and Norwich scores and the match next week of saints v Sunderland - we'll need three solid wins just to get out of the zone.

People need to get real if they think we can get out of this. By the time the January transfer window closes we will be a good 15 points behind 17th place at least.

All we can hope from the January sales is some top quality Championship additions so we can hopefully regroup in the summer and try and get promoted next season. This season is lost.

Now we've reached ROCK BOTTOM we can start to rise again...

Lets use this Guthrie thing to bring us all together, a few new players and a possible new manager.....we can get out of this.

Come on you a Royals

Get your head out of your arse! By the time we've dithered and bargained and lost most of our January targets, the window will close and we will be 12-15 points adrift. We haven't got a chance. You'd need 3-4 new faces at least and in the first few days of January to give us any slight hope!!

Which is why Brian has to stay. There is no point putting someone in who spends the little we have on players who are on silly wages, in the vain hope that we stay up. Brian will sort us out next season and be far more experienced next time around.

Disagree. If he stays, so does his long-ball football and him bringing in the players that are limited to it and no plan b. We are the only club I can think of in the top two divisions that play 4 in midfield and 2 of them are defensive midfielders. It's bloody horrible to watch. New signings in Jan, a new manager with new ideas and a new system to take us back one step to hopefully move forward once again and perhaps then give staying up a real go.
