Okay performance from most of the lads. Just got to dig deep and when we get the ball, need to be far quicker getting up the field or keeping the ball.

It scares me Harte is against Lennon, didn't McDermott think he was their Danger man? Cummings could and has done a job at LB before. I would have put him in.

Legsofwood once proving he is oxf*rd useless. He can't tackle, pass and just gets in our way.

Whatever the jury is saying for Carrico, he honestly can't be any worse. Get him in for the Crawley game!

USA_Loyal_Royal did anyone else notice ian looked kinda pissed off when pog scored? he didnt go celebrate he just walked back with a stone face.

I thought the same 1st off but the 2nd replay showed that he celebrated, smiled, punched the air then got his game face back on. 1st replay only showed the game face.

Simon's Church
SPARTA
wolsey Leigertwood doing a fine job so far

How many times has he given the ball away? How easy was it for him to lose Dawson for the goal?

Clueless.

He's been better than Karacan today.

How many challenges has he made? How often has he broken up/slowed down their breaks?

I don't like knocking our players but I forgot Karacan was on the pitch, and I don't get the gushing Guthrie love on here today; some nice touches, but nothing special

Leigertwood hasn't been bad today. Only gave the ball away twice(?).
Fed excellent aside from the botched clearance.
McAnuff...

Sigurdsson on the other hand is showing why AVB will always start Deuce (Dempsey) when he's not injured.

No he didn't, it was just a dodgy replay. A second replay showed him celebrating like anyone else.

McAnuff is doing a decent job of covering LB, and is often the only player chasing a ball hoofed forward. Kebe has totally given up on attacking and is virtually holding hands with Gunter.

were lacking composure on the ball all we seem to do is hoof it to pog which 9/10 doesn't work

Well, that started excellently, then a quick oh bugger here we go moment. After that it's a case of backs to the wall against a much better team that's dominating possession but not created many clear cut chances because of excellent defending. Not that they need many clear cut chances.

I think this is Ledge's best game in ages. Yes he isn't good enough and yes he is still passing poorly and losing the ball. But his passing is better today and he's still winning it a lot (sadly also can't then keep it often). McAnuff & Kebe are being pinned back to help the full backs and lets face it, neither have the pace to really trouble Spurs at the back and that says a lot for Spurs.

Pog working very hard, I'll be surprised if he finishes the match, must be knackered.

We're well capable of sneaking a second, but you'd have to expect Spurs to get at least one more with the pressure they're lumping on. Still, very creditable performance so far and if we can get the draw, then it would be superb for us. Think we're helped by Gylfi playing wide left, he's a central player so he's just not stretching us wide on their left and is making the centre even more congested.

Are you watching the game? He gave the ball away twice inside the first 3 minutes alone.
He then lost Dawson for the goal, and has continued to give the ball away since.

Certain people will say Leigertwood is shit even when he's not. He's doing an ok job so far IMO. It looks like it's only a matter of time until Spurs get a second at the moment though.
