Reading fans welcome in Redz Bar Saturday

by Crawley Town BT » 02 Jan 2013 22:28

We know Reading are bringing a fantastic following to Crawley on Saturday and we would like to welcome you to use our Redz Bar before kick off.
We open at 11am and from Noon until 1pm we have a Happy Hour where you can get a pie and a pint for £4.
There are other hot food options available including chilli and a good range of beer and lager. From 12.30pm the early ko between Brighton and Newcastle will be on the big screen.
We have a marquee on our ball court next to Redz (with two bars) so there is plenty of room for everyone under cover. We like to think we make visiting fans very welcome in Redz and look forward to seeing Reading supporters at the Broadfield on Saturday.

I have heard they are putting a crew together. Just hope there is a strong police presence. We don't want are good name ruined by a few long haired idiots singing Winds of change.

i guess you haven't heard what happened to the Middlesbrough supporters disabled bus in 2006 :?:

If you had you wouldn't be extending such a welcoming hand to the TTC.

The bar is located behind the home terrace at the south end of the ground :) very few tickets left now, believed to be around 50-100 so will definitely be a record attendance for us! Safe journey down and hope you enjoy your day.... except for the result. :D

I for one am not really interested in the result, or how we do in the FA Cup this year,

We have other more pressing problems to deal with

like staying up

To be honest, we've had Portsmouth, Sheff Utd, Stoke, Aldershot ( ) here without bother. We don't have a hooligan element really, so although a big game with the chance of a minority of your fans trying to cause bother I would ask them, "What's the point?" Most of us just want to see a good game of footie, a bit of banter, then move on. Don't we?

I wouldn't worry about any real life hooliganism but some Reading fans have got a wicked turn of phrase on the internet. None better at the cutting cyber remarks. Beware!
