No...unless we sign a couple more decent players, even then it will be difficult.

3 points off safety; teams around us still to come to Mad Stad. Too right we can do it.

And today had echoes of our run to promotion last season; under pressure and 2nd best for much of the match, but won anyway. (STG can call it lucky I guess)

I am a realist, erring on the side of pessimism.

The way that Pog celebrated. The whole team celebrated.

This is the catalyst. Someone said that it had shades of Bristol City away last season. Yes, it sure does.

Sure we were poor for 80 mins. But that last 10 mins will change the season. The team will take the confidence and push on.

ManchesterRoyals Can we pull it off and stay up?

QPR
Villa
Sunderland
Southampton
Villa
Wigan

^^^All to play at home.

We only have to score one more point than 17th, so I don't care whether we do it with the last kick of the last game of the season, or whether we storm up the league..

I reckon we'll do it.

I voted yes, not because I think we are likely to...but it is certainly a possibility that wouldn't be a total miracle.

I still think on balance we are likely to remain in trouble, but if we can keep playing 4-5-1 and keeping it tight...then we just need a little more quality and few more lucky days like today and anything can happen. Last season showed what a confidence game football can be.

If score one more point than 17th we'll have stayed up easily.

One more than 18th will do me.

Ooops voted no.

Can we? Obviously yes.
Will we? Realistically no, but we'll know a lot more accurately on February 3rd.

Agree with midfielder.

But strikers are one type of player we don't need.

Pog and Alfie and hunt. All incredible finishers scoring out of nothing.

Roberts a class act.

They need service.

I would love you to be right, but the gulf in class for the first 80 minutes was obvious for all to see.

Sadly, I just don't think this team has enough to stay up this season.

Have been saying consistently to anyone who will listen that we will stay up. Most have scoffed, many have felt sorry for me but trust me, WE WILL!
