Z175 We played Morrison to deal with Caldwell

Then why did we have him mark Scharner?

Ledge did a job on Fellaini at ours, completely bossed him in the second half...

Or we go 4-4-2 and Brian has the excuse of "no choice" if it goes badly

Apart from experience, seems the logical choice.

Don't fancy it much, but...

I fear we will be a long time waiting. May be up to this level in a few years time but now? He couldn't even cause our defence problems a few weeks ago! :(

As good a player as Baines is, I don't think man marking a full back is the right way to go.

Just make sure we stop the cross. Which Brian obviously doesn't tell our players to do.

What about McAnuff behind ALF? Surely I'm not the only one who thinks he has played well in CM? Start Robson-Kanu on the left too.

When he joined us, a Forest-supporting friend of mine told me that McCleary "was as much a striker as a winger" - wouldn't mind seeing him up top with ALF, or playing in the hole just behind to pick up the scraps. He certainly has the pace for it.

surely it doesnt matter, if they play one up front whoever the poor sod is they arent going to get any service.

Alex Pearce scored more goals when starting (5) than Adam Le Fondre did (4) last season ;)
