West_Reading ---------------------Fed------------------------

--Kelly-----Pearce-----Mariappa-----Shorey--

---------------Ledge-------Guthrie-------------

--Kebe-------------McAnuff---------------HRK

---------------------ALF---------------------------

Mcleary for Kebe is Kebe's not fit and same with Fed and Taylor.

Also don't know what the situation with Caricco's fitness is but a friend of mine works with a Portuguese guy, who knows their domestic scene very well. He reckons that Caricco in his natural position (CB) is national team standard. If that's the case then we've got nothing to lose between now and the end of the season, so play him there. Him and Mariappa together would actually be able to get the ball out too, without having to hoof it.

I like the look of this very much, although i'd switch Ledge for Karacan/Akpan

Based on having someone that isn't McDermott in post and what I'd like to see. Don't the academy teams normally play 4-5-1?

---------------------Taylor----------------------
---Kelly-----Pearce-----Mariappa---Shorey---
---------------------Ledge----------------------
------------Jobi-------------Guthrie-----------
--Kebe*/McCleary-----------------------HRK--
----------------------Hunt+-----------------------

Henly, Morrison, Akpan, Karacan, Blackman, Samuel, ALF

*if fit, and McCleary drops to the bench over Blackman

+ not what I want to see, but we have very little else, paves the way for 4-4-2 later on.

Barry the bird boggler Really could give a rats what team he fields for either of the next two games, even less interest in the scores as well.

well said. this club is becoming a joke.bring on the championship and lets get bsck to some proper football.

I'm looking forward to the next team selection and formation, how the players play etc and also the next manager's first team selection. Good luck, let's give it a go..

Jeezy Christ, we really are in trouble if we think that Alfie can play up front on his own. Let alone against Utd

We're going to get thumped anyway so it doesn't really matter which of our out of depth strikers play.

I liked the look of Blackman, think he could do a job up top on his own.

Be interesting to see what Dolan does seeing as his academy teams seem to try to play must more attractive passing football than the cloggy fare we've been serving up in the first team. Will we see a switch up or wil he stick to the same tired stuff?

It's his chance to stake a claim to the job and impress if he wants it.

:| So rather than playing someone that cold potentially hold the ball up and link up play like Hunt or Blackman, we go into the game with an even larger handicap.

Dont think he can change too much in such a small amount of time. And he can only play the type of football that our players are equipped to play, otherwise we have Brendan Rodgers all over again.
