Arch
Royal91
ManchesterRoyals Do u think the likes of ledge and jobi and going to put a decent shift in?

I can see us getting tonked

Jobi can put a shift in, but his downfall is he's fcuking useless; simply has one of the worst crosses I've ever seen from a winger.

For L,wood its impossible to put in a shift in as he can't move!

You are both morons.

Hate personal insults but in this case a massive +1

I see McCarthy is back in training, enough time to get into the team on Sat?

Possibly, I'm no coach but assume he will need a week or so training to get back up to speed.

Would be good to get him in while Feds is injured too, so a good performance from McCarthy will keep him no.1. Feds has been great (for the most part) of this season but I just feel McCarthy has more to offer.

In terms of a guess at the team - I'd like to think Dolan will pick a team from his own observations and personal team-playing style. If he does then I look forward to seeing what he brings Saturday!

Federici deserves credit for picking up his form after a terrible start to the season. He's been good recently.

Just read it on the team news, thought he'd done his time but clearly not. Kebe also out too so no luck there.

Utd go on their slump starting against us ..... 3-1 us and Eamon Dolan is then appointed interim until the end of the season.

Taylor
Kelly--Pearce--Mariappa--Shorey
Guthrie
GMac--Akpan--Karacan--HRK
Le Fondre

*Maybe play Caricco, but let's face it no-one knows if he is actually any good at the moment
**Missed the last couple of games, so haven't seen much of Blackman yet, so not sure if I'd start him

True, but he's not back fit yet is he? Taylor hasn't done too badly, but he also hasn't covered himself in glory, so if McCarthy is fit I wouldn't be surprised to see him oust Taylor. If Fed is fit he'll start.

I bet he picks the same starting 11 as Brian would have, proving it was pointless to sack him, a manager is only as good as the players at their disposal, so given the fact eamon only has the same players to choose from I expect nothing to change

Wonder if Feds would have saved any of those goals. Think he may have had one or possibly two as he can pull off the unexpected. Just think Taylor's looks very shaky as he hasn't played seriously for so long. Going against one of the top teams in the world and missing 4 key players and a manager. Think I'll have a bet on this one!

I think Feds would have saved (or at least got a hand to) Pienaar's strike. That says more about Feds being great than Taylor being bad though.

I was on Getreading.co.uk earlier and saw a headline of "McDermott to assist Dolan in team selection on Saturday" and clicked the link and it then said page not found. They were either testing links or preparing to publish it later on today and pushed the button too soon, or pulled it.

It's probably them making a story out of Dolan saying he was on the phone to Brian daily.

Maybe that hints it won't be a radical departure from previous recent line ups.

McCarthy just tweeted, "on the plane to Manchester" - looks like he is in the squad then. Karacan tweeted the same
