moonwalklikebas When our fans keep posting endless pointless threads, stop backing the team, club and owner and don't appreciate where we are as a club......oh wait.

Nothing should deter you from forever supporting this club. If this club means as much to you as it does to so many of us, holding so many great memories and yes frustrating ones shared with family and friends of sadly past and present then yeah vent your anger on players, the manager and shout till your throat hurts but do it cause you care and not for the wrong reasons. Back the club, back the owner, back whatever manager we have and back the boys....except Jobi ;)

What if an asian man came in, changed our colours to red and was planning on naming us the Reading robins?

Divvy
Eaststandman what (if anything) would it take for you to turn your back on your club and make alternative arrangements?

Nothing, ever!

I've seen third and fourth tier football, and I've enjoyed every level. This is my club. It's my town. I love it and I'm proud of it!

I'm very much of this mind as well. I may not be able to face some of the latter games this season if they become academic, but I'll never turn my back.

Lucky we don't have Socrates as manager - wasn't he a bit of an academic?

Not under any circumstances whatsoever? Your support is that unconditional, that blind?

What if we were bought by a mass-murderer and/or kiddy-fiddler? What if all matches were played at 10am on a Sunday to suit a Chinese TV audience? What if anyone was banned from the ground for standing, or booing, or protesting in any way? What if the colours were changed, prices went up tenfold, only Chinese players were in the team ......

Surely there must be a point at which they're not the team you support any more?

All of the above, as I'm assuming you must have the inside info on our up-coming psychotic, dictatorial, pedohile, oriental owner with his liking to see his countrymen running round in pink & yellow hoops at stupid hours of the day, whilst making folk pay a hundred odd pounds to see it......

Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed

Quite useful clarification there. I will cease to be a Reading fan at the point that I cease to be a Football fan.

I might cease to be a football fan cos Football goes shit (Chinese TV, crowds stand on their heads and shit to applaud)

I might cease to be a football fan because Reading FC goes shit (Oyston, North Korean Sovereign Wealth)

I will never switch allegiance to another club.

Relocation... I live in Bournemouth but relocating even here I would no longer support the club.

Who would I support? Probably Wycombe

akranes Being forced to eat cooked sushi every minute that we didn't score by the mascots.

That doesn't make any sense. It wouldn't be sushi if it were cooked. Do you just mean fish?

royalexile It all stinks like a whores crotch.

I am unaware of the smell generated by a whore's crutch but I am aware that if your sushi has any sort of odd smell you are doing it wrong.
