I am very happy with this.
Just look at how the youngsters such as Lallana have developed while Adkins was at Southampton. If he can get the best out of players such as Jem I am all for this.
Very excited for the future regardless of whether we stay up or go down. I also hope he can bring some goals back into Pog's game too!

May I be the first under this thread to hilariously say "move on".
Have just done a rendition of "There's only one Nigel Adkins" in the office and those of a Saints disposition joined in and are pleased that the bloke has got another job,just as we will be pleased for Brian when he also gets a new job.

Whilst I don't like him as a person, you cannot argue that he appears to be a good manager and will hopefully improve our style of play. Roll on promotion next year.

Adkins got rid of Sharp as soon as they reached the Prem. Not sure he's gonna be that keen on playing for him again.

Brilliant appointment imo. Got a few decent results at the start of the season and plays lovely football. He always seems very honest in interviews as well, whether the team have played well or not.
