I want to play for a top-four club.

 best of luck with that mate.

To be fair, I reckon he could do a job for Motherwell.

A relatively new agent trying hard to make himself look big time...

I fear a bit for Pearce and Kanu because all this hype and talk they're being fed could well end up backfiring. Christ you'd think these players would have learned from the 06-08 generation but then maybe all they're focussed on is how much ££££££ that group made for doing relatively bugger all once they left.

The Quiet Man You may have noticed on Sky Sports News or in various newspapers recently that HRK is desperate to play in the premier league, preferably with "Cardiff" as he is "Welsh".

Just to clarify, they really are called Cardiff.

Go on then, Feck Off, no time for players who have an eye on going elsewhere.
Dont care how good you are, in this case mediocre, if your heart aint in it then neither is your head.

Has often flattered to deceive.

He's no Steve Sidwell. He's not even a James Harper.

I actually think he'll be better off staying as Atkin's style of football will suit him well next season.

To be honest, I can't see anyone wanting him. I'm sure this is a negotiating tool being used by his agent to squeeze more money out of Reading.

Hammond's not stupid - he's prepared to let Pearce go and will let Robson-Kanu go if necessary.

I would much rather see him stay! I thought he looked good since Christmas really and kept playing well when the team was playing shite again. Also, the idea of McCleary and HRK running at championship defences do excite me! However, as other have mentioned, I can see the club taking the same stance they did with Pearce and Church and not being held to ransom by a player. HRK should look at the players who have left Reading in the past 5 or 6 seasons.... apart from Gylfi and Long, have any gone on to better things?

I said last time that we were in the PL that in many ways it makes things worse. Players get their heads turned by the money and prestige and average players see it as a chance to take advantage of their stock being temporarily high.

From a fan point of view it is frustrating but as players careers are so short in a way you cannot blame them, but it does seem that many have worse careers as a result of seeking the £££££'s and how many millions do you need to be happy?

I feel less aggrieved with HRK as at least he is under contract and the club will get a few quid. Pearce has done the club like a kipper on the other hand - so much for any loyalty.

I actually think that HRK is a good player and one that will be missed.

If we lose many of our best players this does make a speedy return to the PL much harder as their will be an even bigger rebuilding job to do.

Only for a year! Meaning unless he goes this summer, we will be in the same situation as with Pearce. With him only having a year, the price we could get will be reduced a lot.

So how do I donate to this appeal, the cause seems very worthy?

HRK h8 now? Really? He looked one of our best players last season and has youth on his side, but you crack on with the h8 if you must.

Marginally and in patches I'd agree with you. But it really isn't saying much. Mediocre at best. Perfect for Aston Villa.
