Cripple Creek I suppose the most notable of this kind of player (non-Reading) would be the likes of Chris Waddle or Matt Le Tissier but Reading have had a few. I'm not talking ugliness here but the kind of player who walks onto the pitch and you think "jeez, he looks like he'd be a more likely candidate for spending a Saturday afternoon drinking down the Spread Eagle". For me the one that springs most notably to mind would have to be Glen Little. Looked nothing like an athlete but was, for me, one of the most joyous Reading players to watch ever (and I'm talking in 38 years of watching the team).

thirtyyarder Never has a man looked so slow whilst running flat out as Glen Little. Seeing him rip premier league lbs to pieces is still one of my favorite memories ever.
