I agree but if Maps knew he was leaving, that might explain his state of mind, I don't remember him being that bad last season against much better opposition, and putting him aside, my comment about those two remains, I don't see them being the defence that wins us promotion based on the games so far.

He was a bit immune from criticism last year but was definitely the best centre back and we should try our best to keep him.
