2-3.

Adkins opts for a 4-4-2 with ALF/HRK up front and McAnuff right wing and it works wonders, just.

0-0 is my bet. Another precious clean sheet but very little to be excited about in the final third. Hopefully ALF starts being able to score when he starts a game this season.

ALF: starts 5, goals 3, assists 1. subs 2, goals 1, assists 0.

It constantly amazes me how people parrot the same tired old crap with no reference to reality what-so-ever.

I was referring to last season where, while scoring many goals, he struggled to find the target when he started.I thought the wording of it was obvious but I can dumb it down in future for you? Regardless he is only 5 starts in so It's a little soon to be saying he wont follow last seasons trend. He might only score another 1 or 2 goals from a starting position from now on.

Not sure why you'd be referring to last season when you say this season and you hope he starts scoring from starts. Which he's already done.

But whatever.

I can explain how it works if you like?

"Hopefully ALF starts being able to score when he starts a game"- I clearly (It was clear to me) mean scoring regularly when he starts a game for us. As it is only 7 games in i think it is too early to say how well a player is going to do throughout the season based on his current stats. Much the same as not being able to tell how well a team will do this early based on their current stats. Other wise the tables would remain the same as they are throughout the season and nobody would watch football anymore.

"this season" - As opposed to last season. When he didn't.

Taking the "this season" quote and the "starts" quote out of my sentence and moving them around is called tampering.. Its a popular way of misquoting someone. For example
Ian Royal It constantly amazes me how old people crap

But whatever.

2-0 whilst we have a solid defence I'm not convinced by our midfield.
