Reading 0 - 6 QPR (0-3 HT)

The first nervous chants of "we want our Brian/Coppell/Money back" are heard as the third goal goes in before half time, but these grow to be deafening once the 5th goal goes in around the hour mark. However, barely 7,000 remain to see the final goal go in and boo at the final whistle.

Adkins takes the positives from the match in his interview, as at 51%, at least we saw 'good possession of the football'. Dellor presses (gently) for answers with regards to strange team selections/lack of plan B/inability to make subs - but his enquiries are rebuffed as Adkins completely ignores the question and turns it into a snide swipe at the fans, blaming them for the teams lack of coherence and motivation.

Meanwhile Madejski suffers a rare moment of rage and barges into Anton's corner office which has remained unoccupied for so long. He happens upon a bottle of 1775 Jerez Xeres, bearing the Imperial seal, which was found in the famed cellars at Massandra in the Crimea. It was the property of Tsar Nicolas II, and Stalin ordered the Soviet Revolutionaries to preserve it and all its contents in cellars undisturbed for over a century, before making it's way into the possesion of the Zingaravich family as a gift. Madejski cracks off the seal and downs half the bottle, retching from its rancid antique palate, before dashing the bottle and its contents across the monolithic desk and storming out 'for a drive'...

Loss, but a win wouldn't make any difference in the league. We would not move up a place, and the team we beat would still be 5 points ahead of us. Shows how misleading is our 5th place.

I agree we will stay fifth even if we win (could even drop a place) but the rest of your post is absolute gibberish, please explain

Things might change later in the afternoon when the rest of the championship games are played
