andrew1957 I just cannot see us letting ALF go this window unless we are bringing in at least 2 new strikers.

It looks like Roberts is retiring so we only have Pog and ALF currently and even if Sharp returns we would be really risking it just having Sharp and Pog if we want to try and reach the play offs. Whatever Adkin thinks of him it would be madness to let ALF go without replacing him.

Absolutely this.

When did everyone go from complaining about not having four or five good strikers to wanting only two?

We can't let him go qithout replacing him no, but we probably need less forwards if we want to play one up tops instead of two, so maybe 3 challenging for the 1 spot would be enough. I don't think we really have any competition for places upfront right now though, so we're a distance away from being able to let him go without a replacement coming in.

The most pathetic and ridiculous booking from Alf on Saturday.

Don't worry Jason Roberts is nearly ready to return.

Not sure why he would go to play for manager who benched him frequently

He'd have to move first

And it would also be in the future

They signed Kebe and promptly lost 6-0. Maybe with ALF too it might be 10?

Doncha just love Leeds getting thrashed?

Rotherham. Quite amazing the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield (where they recently/latterly played their home games) is being bulldozed already after only 24 years in existence.

Leeds look set to ward off interest from Celtic and Forest for Alf (Todays reliable paper sources)

That's quite shit, although they do seem to rate Alex Pearce and Sean Morrison as our best players, so maybe they don't really know what the f/ck they are on about.

Desperate Leeds fans practically begging him to join them. I really couldn't see him going back to BM's football, not after openly criticising it when he left. Not forgetting we'd then need two strikers this window; and if you discount Blackman as a striker, we would still only have three then. Can't see him going anywhere this month!

Jem is 7th and he only played three minutes this season before his leg fell off.
