St. Brynjar #AdkinsOUT

I've been an Adkins hater since his appointment, and have regularly voiced my opinion about him.
I thought his biggest problem was his stubbornness and reluctance to modify the tactics. It seems he's finally doing that, as he announced he would to be fair.
I'll be willing to eat my hat if he can genuinely make this happen every week!!

Am I dreaming? We have to play like this week in week out for the remainder of the season. And we have to keep ALF and the Pog in this tranny window. Really want us to get 2 or 3 more in the second half. In your face Mills!

I wonder whether Pog would look better in a dress than Alf.

Credit to Adkins for modifying his tactics the last two games.
I won't apologise for criticising him before that though, because for the 1st half of the season we were absolute rubbish.

A few more games like these last two and I will be firmly behind Adkins. Not there quite yet.

Personally I agree with Adkins philosophy of possession football and he shouldn't throw that in the bin.

If we go up we still need to be able to do this.

However, today, in the first half 42% possession for Reading and 4-0 up........................

Why is it when a player has a hat trick he no longer takes the penalties? Also who has scored our most goals in a game?

Having a left footed player at left back and no Guthrie in the middle has made a big difference.

I remember Jimmy Whitehouse getting four and believe it was in the last 15/20 minutes

Tbf, I think NA was always pretty open with the fact that the players weren't playing it forward quickly enough for his liking at times. His Saints team never played slow football, and I don't think it's what he was trying to get us to play. The trick is knowing the right time to get it forward, and being able to retain the ball when the forward ball isn't on, rather than panicking and giving it straight back. Obviously it takes time for players to develop that type of composure and decision making, I must admit I didn't think the current squad would be capable of achieving it, but we seem to have turned a little corner so onwards and upwards.
