Pearce's ban has been rescinded, so I guess he'll be in the running.

I feel for Hector. Pearce has to start now.

Pearce's red has even rescinded. Booooo.

My team would be: McCarthy, Gunter, Hector, Gorkss, Obita, McCleary, Williams, Guthrie, McAnuff, Le Fondre, Pogrebnyak.

Will probably be Pearce instead of Hector now though, queue multiple chances for QPR from Pearce getting turned for pace by Kevin Doyle.

oh and yeh, justice* prevails

* was quite looking forward to hector starting
Anyone else think that in these instances results should be amended to a draw?

Is this the most disappointing decision that's ever gone our way?

No. It sucks for us, but it's the best way of resolving things. We have no way of knowing what would have happened.

I agree that it would have been nice to see Hector start, but it is also good for Pearce to not miss a match and our strongest team to play.

Basingstoke Royal Hector has to be given a chance, or there was no point bringing him back from aberdeen.

Kelly has been a liability the few times he has played, getting caught out of position and making rash tackles.

Imo hector is lower risk than kelly.

Player with 10 years Premier League experience = liability
Player you've never seen play safe for a few 10 minute cameos = low risk.
How'd you work that one out?

Pepe the Horseman I'm sure Guthrie will start. The defeat on Sat will give Nige a perfect excuse to stick him back in.

Akpan's had a couple of knocks in the last couple of games and ran his heart out so I wouldn't be surprised.

Obvs Big Hec will have to wait a little longer for his chance.

BANT aside, what an unexpected - for me at least  - piece of good news. Against the best starting XI on paper in the division we need our most experienced players to play in order to maximise our chances of a result. Hector's chance will come along.

Why not give Hector a chance in central midfield, played there a bit before.
McCarthy
Gunter Pearce Gorkss Obita
Williams Guthrie Akpan/Hector
Mcleary McAnuff
Pogrebynak
