Decent game of low quality football. Deserved 3 points though, we weren't gr8 but Brim very poor. Gunts had another good game, as did Roy. Alf a big disappointment, if someone offers 3m this summer we should bite their hands off.

Obita was quality today for one so young and" playing out of position" he looked a class act in a very average football match. Jobi and Pearce at the end where class giving it some when the rest of the team seemed happy these boys where loving it! Great to see, they both lack footballing ability but there passion for the team is great to see.

Mmmm ... I never thought Jobi lacked footballing ability. There's a reason he has spent all his career in the top two divisions. Weirdly he seems a player who, unaccountably, can lack confidence but I have never considered for a moment that he is lacking in the ability department.

Confidence, or lack of, seems to be more of a winger's thing than any other position in teams. Perhaps it's because of the role that they are expected to play.

Just look back to Bobby Convey. When he believed in himself, world class. When he didn't, often invisible.

This is certainly part of the deal if not all of it. Fans expect wingers to take players on and beat them, but they're still only human. Deny them the opportunity to run from space against a single defender and you often shut them down.
