I guess Ford would be the most likely people to be doing it, yeah. But I'd also be interested to hear if anyone else is either.

Just as well given the utter shambles this season has been at home. Not looking forward to seeing how Huddersfield collect their points on Saturday.

I used to go to a lot but the awful journeys on the motorways and the high cost of train fares mean I don't bother anymore. Once upon a time you could drive and not be caught in huge jams. Once upon a time you could get away day specials or very reasonable day returns and get a seat

Some people I know went to Millwall away this season and moaned about

Silly kids standing all the game (2 of them are fairly old and don't want to stand the entire 90mins but had no choice if they wanted to see)
Drunken idiots fighting over a burger
Moronic songs

They said they wouldn't go to another away game.

So I assume the behavior of a few moronic fans ruins it for the vast majority.

SPARTA lol at a chelsea fan starting this thread on a Reading board.

do remind us of chelsea's away attendances pre-abramovich, and while you're at it, the early 90's - just for laughs!

well their home crowds in the second tier were well below what ours are now.

wrt the OP

too much other stuff going on in their lives. the person who asked "why are there so many home fans" had it nailed.

The game was sit/stand wherever you want.
Why didn't your pensioner mates go and sit at the front with everyone else who wanted to sit down?

Chelsea's home average was under 20K in 1994. In the Premiership.

It was 12 600 in the second tier in 1983.

Can I suggest that if they don't like people standing up and singing songs that maybe away games weren't for them in the first place and especially an away game at Millwall.

You don't genuinely belief that fight was about a burger do you Kessy?
