Ian Royal I'd say the best way to introduce younger players is to bring them into a team of established pros in ones or twos so they have the support around them and can be introduced gently. What I gather you're suggesting is just chuck in as much youth as possible right away.
That's a good way to say sink or swim, with the emphasis on sink rather than be supportive and aid development. Look at how it worked for Pearce, Karacan, Siggurdsson, McCarthy, Obita etc. following the steady introduction in ones and twos to an existing senior side.
It's such a stupid suggestion I glossed over it to start with because I assumed it was an attempt at humour. It seems from your staunch defence it was serious.
