The summer: I'm looking forward to seeing.....

by floyd__streete » 10 Apr 2014 12:45

All the high-earning, under-performing, preening, tempramental pr*cks leaving the club.

Goodbye Drenthe, I look forward to you Instagramming pictures of your boots and your homies in your own little clique at whatever club you end up next on your journey from Real Madrid to Ryman League, you fat waster.

Goodbye Guthrie, you have the attitude of Joey Barton and half of the ability, you horrible chav.

Goodbye Pog, you have been good to watch at times but all too often you play with all the commitment of someone with M.E.

Goodbye Gunter, you utter melt.

Goodbye Akpan, not sure how much you earn but it will surely be far more than we can afford for your entirely modest abilities.

Goodbye Adkins, you are about as trustworthy as a double-glazing salesman.

If anyone else wants to go then - almost entirely without exception - that is entirely fine by me.

I'm looking forward to us not signing anyone at all, and the associated fury on this board when the summer transfer window inevitably shuts.

That's all a tad too vague though Floydie, what is it exactly you are trying to say?

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone leave the club.

Owner, the entire coaching staff, the players, the whole bloody lot.

Sign a dozen new players and add the best of the U21s to make up the squad.

I don't care if that means relegation, anything is better than this. I've had a season ticket for 24 seasons in a row. Something close to the above is required for me to make it a 25th.

A spot of cricket, either 20/20 or I may take in a day at the test match.

Are people still saying this? I'll be interested to see the reaction if we are ever relegated.

That's a must this summer with lovely Mr Kohli coming to dazzle us.

Which is your venue of choice, Green? I think I fancy Trent Bridge this year.

Oval probably. Never manage to get tickets for Lords and don't really like leaving London.

Better atmosphere at the Oval, lords is a bit stuffy and some of my mid afternoon session antics dont go down as well.
