Brighton must still be favourites as we have 2 hard games and just Williams in midfield and Pog back up front(thought Kanu and Lefondre took us up a stage).

Just looking at league positions Brighton should beat Yeovil tomorrow night. But the joy of the Championship means nothing is straightforward.

Brighton's last 6 home games:
08/03/2014 Reading 1-1
12/03/2014 QPR 2-0
22/03/2014 Ipswich 0-2
29/03/2014 Middlesbrough 0-2
12/04/2014 Charlton 3-0
21/04/2014 Blackpool 1-1

So 2 wins, 2 draws & 2 defeats during which they've been between 6th & 9th in table.

Yeovil's last 6 away games:
15/03/2014 QPR 0-3
18/03/2014 Wigan 3-3
25/03/2014 Leicester 1-1
05/04/2014 Blackpool 2-1
08/04/2014 Charlton 2-3
18/04/2014 Blackburn 0-0

So 1 win, 3 draws & 2 defeats. The 3 draws were all against promotion/play-off contenders.

While I wouldn't bet my house, shirt or even toenail on it a draw is a possibility tomorrow. Come on you carrot crunching wurzels!

Donny have lost their last 3 at home (Brum, Bolton & Derby), having won the 3 before that (Huddersfield, Watford & Wednesday).

Brighton home to Yeovil tonight. Let's hope the Glovers are up for a scrap and can sneak something.

So tonight's result now officially rules Bournemouth out of the running barring miraculous GD swings. Which is good news for us as Forest should win tomorrow now.... meaning they have motivation against Brighton on the last day.

Burnley should take care of Ipswich tomorrow IMO so 3 horse race between us Brighton & Forest.

Hopefully Burnley want to finish at home on a high and will be on the beach for the final game of the season!

Burnley will be buzzing tomorrow with the "We're going up" flags etc & all the home fans getting behind them. No way will they lose tomorrow.

Brighton 2-0 Yeovil so that's them back to 6th (and Yeovil relegated) but doesn't really change the fact we have to win at Doncaster tomorrow.

Stringing a run of wins together is not really something we have managed yet this season

We have not won 3 games in a row all season and as far as I can see work out we have only one 2 in a row once, when we beat Blackpool at home followed by Millwall away.

Yes we have, we beat Leeds, Derby then Birmingham in a row in September. We have also won consecutive games five times this season.

A win today would give us a great chance. I fancy it (hope it) to be a 3-1 win for us, and a draw between both Burnley v Ipswich and Bournemouth v Forest. That would mean a win for us today would only leave us needing to match Brighton's result v Forest on the final day... Burnley of course have nothing to play for, but whether that will mean we have a better chance of winning or whether they hammer us with the pressure off who knows. I think it could be a draw at Brighton and a draw for us in which case we get 6th on goals scored...

Nicking it on goals scored would be amazing, it means beating Bolton 7-1 was vital to our season

Er........are you sure about that?

If we win today, we go 1 point ahead of BHA; the only way the scenario above could happen is if we win today 3-0, then on the last day, we lose 1-0 and BHA draw.

The only way it will rely on GD between us and Brighton is if we lose and Brighton draw, as their GD will remain at 14 and ours will decrease below 14. In that event we'd finish below them, and would have to rely on Wigan losing both their games, which would send them out. Only caveat is if there is a 7 goal swing between us and Blackburn, in which case Blackburn will overtake us.
