Adkins has said throughout the season the players are on a conditioning programme such that they should get fitter as the season goes, maybe now we are seeing the benefits

Williams and McCleary will both miss the start of the season which tbh is great news for us

It means nobody will buy them in the transfer window....well they might but buying a player who may not make it back for a few months is a risk

So we let loads of players go and now the only three half-decent players left are all injured? Glad I didn't renew my season ticket.

Looks like we now have enough money to pay for the operations for Williams and McCleary.

According to Adkins, Hector has a hip issue they're keeping an eye on. His substitution on Saturday was planned in order to manage it. So that should blow up nicely just in time for the start of the season...

This is what happens when you have a crisis one season and run players into the ground to cope with it. You end up with a hangover into the next, on top of the usual minor niggles that crop up.

Yep we certainly ran Hector into the ground and Williams didn't play that much.

Hector

Williams has a history of injury problems and was rushed back too soon at least once, if not more than that.

HTH.

What is actually up with Williams?

Heard an interview after one of the early friendlies. He said words to the effect that he was fit and raring to go after a season of niggles. Not seen or heard a thing since!

Has he been abducted by Aliens?

OR SOLD

Surgery last week, supposedly went against advice to have surgery in the summer and is paying for it now.

So that's williams. Now why are players like Guthrie and McCleary, not to mention plenty of others, constantly missing games through injury? Is it just the players or is it how they are being treated?

The silence from the club is deafening.

Its bad enough with lack of comment surrounding this alleged take over.
At least keep us in the know with the playing side of things.

But Hey Ho Lets not get to disillusioned because The new 2014/15 kits will be in the megastore from Wednesday.

Probably a mix, like at most clubs. Williams and McLeary seem to have long standing problems. Would be interesting to know if our injuries are any worse than other clubs. I know we have worse fans, a worse atmosphere, worst stewards, worst PR than everyone else so I would guess we could have the worst medical set up as well....

The silence from the club is deafening.

By way of comparison down here there is still a regular daily newspaper with some update or another on what is going on at the club and the injury situation.
RFC should never again state that it is a community club-it is nothing of the sort and for the past 3 years or so it has lost more and more any contact and affinity with the fans other than what is available in the club shop.
There seem to be a lot of people on here who have fallen out of love with our club and it will be interesting how much of an impact that has on attendances in the coming weeks.

Its bad enough with lack of comment surrounding this alleged take over.
