bobby1413 Does this mean we can't sing our "we don't care about Anton..." song?

If so that means that our repertoire has been really depleted for this season (No more Alf and hopefully an Anton who cares)
That only leaves us with BLARMY

Oilroyal Excellent signing, offers the experience we need at the back. Massive welcome Anton and best wishes.

MmmMonsterMunch Welcome to Reading Anton. I for one think some may be being a bit harsh on you & you could turn out to be our shrewdest signing this season.

In terms of experience he doesn't offer anything that Pearce doesn't offer. What we need at the back is a bit of pace and a cool head. No idea if he offers either of those .

I agree.
I am ultra impressed by the signing of Simon Cox, Jamie Mackie and Anton.
Not based on performances, but compared to BEFORE the signings, I am hugely pleased about how it's gone so far. Did anyone expect a 2-2 draw (not only that but we performed well), and we still have lots to show, plus injured first team players battling to come back.
Things are looking alright which I think may be an understatement.

Ian Royal Will happily admit that I'm not overly pleased by this but that my view is almost entirely irrational. Partly for the West Ham & QPR links, partly for who is brother is and mostly because I just don't like his face.
My only genuine concern is if this has been forced on Adkins by the Thais. Oh yeah, and he hasn't really played for ages and is obviously on the decline or he'd still be playing in the Prem.
