Extended-Phenotype Interest from other parties could have jacked the price up. 3m sounds like shit business to me. Especially when you consider the % of that we are likely to spend on much needed players.

Cracking keeper, young, possible future England star, wanted by Juventus and Liverpool, less than 3m?

We really are desperate for money.

We've no idea how firm that reported interest is or if the club have taken that into account in the negotiations with QPR so I still have no idea why you think we've diddled ourselves out of extra on the fee. If there's one thing Reading fans should've realised over the last few years it's that Hammond knows how to negotiate a sale.

As for McCarthy being this great England prospect, well I just don't see that. I'm a big fan of his but he's 24 and has never really pushed himself above his peers over the years. There are other keepers of his generation that will probably continue to keep him well down the pecking order and others coming through the age groups who will no doubt over take him.

Extended-Phenotype Well, it's obvious SJM is still sticking his beak into shit. Literally kicking players out the door and as usual only pennies for Akpan clones made available.

Meanwhile Leeds have made 12 signings. Watch them join the ranks of teams we used to smash, overtaking us.

Yep Leeds are going to overtake us, they've just sacked their manager after only 6 games in charge

At least someone agrees with me.

If this is his car, then it was spotted in London where he is supposedly having his medical.

If he has gone which looks likely, it seems a shame because I think he could have been in the top 3 English keepers with some better coaching than we provided

Or the fact that we're in the championship not the premiership. Our goalkeeping coaching is clearly very good.

In England you're supposed to park on the lines.

Just works to dispel the rumour that only Feds is a bit iffy on his positioning.

That's because the last time Fed's had a meaningful run in a side he took up 20 minutes on Danny Baker's Football Bloopers 2013 DVD.

Supposedly Liverpool have hijacked the deal with Rogers matching QPR's bid.
