are our players brainwashed?

by paddy20 » 22 Nov 2014 18:32

Just heard our captain on bbc saying how well we played in the second half against Cardiff. After listening to the after match interview with Adkins it seems our whole set up, management and players alike believe we are doing ok and 'playing well'.
Don't they all need a big reality check?

If Adkins tries to convince them that we are just unlucky that may be part of the problem. We need a strong character to come out and say we are playing totally ineffectual football, our defence is terrible and we have a number of hangers on who never produce. Until we are prepared to face the truth we have no hope. I think Mcleery's body language said it all last night. What the hell are we trying to do???

Perhaps Mr Adkins is just too cerebral. Lets get rid of the notes and get back to a bit of passion. The players are scared stiff of taking any initiative. Sadly this present regime seems incapable of seeing the wood for the trees. Too much analysis can make you go mad!!!
