Ian Royal
Huntley & Palmer
Ian Royal Screams mercenary.

Screams fair enough to me. If a chairman is willing to throw money at you to join his club and you want to stay in England, can't see as many would ever turn it down.

I expect footballers to want to play. He's shown he's only interested in money and would rather sit on the bench at a lower level maximising his earnings than going and actually playing somewhere.

Where's the oxf*rd determination to succeed?

Although to be fair, if a club sign you on big money it's reasonable to assume they've done so because they want to play you week in week out and not keep you in the stands.

juanpablo great player and suggesting he's done nothing for us is harsh, he has always put in a shift. Love to see him get a run in the team, system aside you cant have a team with Blackman in it and not Pog

The only point I agree with you on is that he's probably as good as Blackman, but then so am I

Pog a great player, and always puts in a shift, what planet are you on , he doesn't give a flying fig about Reading FC just about his pay packet. He doesn't work hard, doesn't use his body to shield the ball(which for a guy his size is criminal) can't or won't jump, doesn't close the defender down, falls over at the drop of a hat, need I go on, and don't tell me he hasn't had the service, when he does get it, his goals to game ratio is poor

That's simply not true. When Pogrebnyak gets service, he scores very well indeed.

https://twitter.com/SocaStats/status/287114405961949184

In his first season with us, his 5 goals came from 25 or 26 shots.

Last season, he scored 13 goals from 63 shots.

This season, he's only taken 2 or 3 shots (let me show you how to turn it up a notch...) in the league, so it's not surprising he hasn't scored a league goal.

He averages a goal every 5 shots, which is very good (better than Charlie Austin, for example). Contrastingly, Murray requires 9 shots for each goal, which isn't terrible but also isn't particularly good. If Williams or Karacan were scoring at that rate we'd be happy, but Murray is meant to be a leading striker.

Now these stats have to be considered in light of their style of play - maybe Pogrebnyak just doesn't shoot unless he's really confident that he'll score? Maybe he squanders chances before he shoots? - but on the face of it, there's no cause to say that Pogrebnyak is bad at converting chances.

He's missed his fair share of sitters. And if he's not getting the shots in the first place he can't score.

The sooner he's out of the club the better.

Glad I don't sit next to you m8. If you think Pog doesn't put a shift in when he plays then you've no idea about football. I'll give you the staying on his feet quote but the rest is just absolute bollox.

Maybe he does the night shift, which explains why he's not at his best during the game.

(Appears the Pog wants out) Pavel Pogrebnyak has revealed he may soon be making a decision about his Reading FC future.

The Royals striker claimed that there has been 'negative' atmosphere surrounding the club following their slide down the Championship table.
Well if your not happy Pog stop moaning and do something about it!. Ship up or ship out ! you'll be doing our club a good deed if you go. We may be able to afford to get two or three really good loan players in whose hearts will be wanting to help the the club.
