Forbury Lion What a waste of petrol (during the fuel apocalypse the never was)

Sh*t on the floor - Not original, not that great but always makes me LOL as some numpty on a Palace board started a thread about this "racist chant" after it was sung by us at Palace when one of their players went down, who happened to be black

Remember getting grief from a Watford fan after we sung that to Mariappa in the ghost goal game. Glad Adrian overcame our foul racist tirade and joined us.

To Gabor Kiraly (Crystal Palace) about his terrible goalkeeping bottoms.

Yes, I particularly enjoyed "Tracksuit from Matalan" directed at Kiraly at the Fulham game in September.

This was quality.

"Shoes off, if 'yer 2-0 up" against Derby away last season was pretty special too.

The Shaun Cummings chant always made me chuckle too.

I liked Blackburn away last season, when the whole of the away end stood up and sung "If Ya Gettin' Down" by 5ive, from start to finish.

I did laugh when we played Pompey a couple of years ago and we were winning just before half time and people were leaving the ground, to which the away fans sang, "we can see you sneaking out!".... To which we responded, "We've got money for some chips!" ....Made me laugh anyway!

Best thing about 'Tracksuit from Matalan' was how brilliant it sounded in your wretched Reading accents.

Trarrrrrrksoot from Mat'alan.

Where possible, all Reading chants should make full use of the Berkshire rolled 'arrrrrr' and the glottal stop.

FYI, Steve McMahon BHC was in fact the B-side to:

He's fat
He's scouse
he'll rob yer f*cking house
Steve McMahon!
Steve McMahon!

Favourite RFC chant:

Southerners Southerners Southerners
Southerners Southerners Southerneeeeeeers
Southerners Southerners Southerners
Southerners
Sou
Thern
Ers

Best sung whilst wearing a straw boater and drinking a glass of champagne.

'greed - some people say it's a region that struggles with its identity but this puts them right.

The '94-'95 home game against Wolves also saw the debut of the ode to John de Wolf:

"Where's your caravan?"

A (very) short-lived classic.

From Despair To Where? Nathan Abbey was another one. "Abbey Is a girl's name". The one I remember best was at Chesterfield back in 2002 where the away end was right on top of the goal. To his credit, he was laughing about it. That was at the height of the ITV Digital fiasco and along with the ITV W@nk W@nk W@nk chants, I remember them trying to film a piece for the football league show in front of the away end but giving up because every time the presenter tried to do his bit to camera everyone started singing the Match of the Day theme.

Saltergate was a great away day.

This x 1000000. Loved Chesterfield away, that game was brilliant.

Its was my sons first birthday yesterday and he was given a ride on fire engine which plays the tune of Michael Finnegan so all I hear, all day, is

Jamie Lambert's illegitimate,
He ain't got no birth certificate,
He's got aids and he can't get rid of it,
Dirty oxford ba5tard.

Not sure if it was always Lambert, think it may have been aimed at Joey Beauchamp? In other shock news.

There's a slight "AEer doing his time over here to make your account look more authentic" feel about you somehow, You're Bard.
