Tough game to watch. Gutsy performance. It will be settled at the Madejski...

Avon Royal That was horrible to watch in every way.

So glad it's over.

Pretty turgid affair, but we are still there, top perfromance from Hector, that lad looks class and Pearce has upped his game since geting the arm band, they look a pretty solid centre back pairing.

Well we got through a very tough prospect and Chalobah seems to have put in the best shift of his time here so far. Defence pretty solid, but you know they're always vulnerable to a bit of quality of a stupid mistake.

Second half Mackie, HRK and Pog just not in it, neither was Yak or McCleary... but then hardly unexpected seeing as by the time we'd made our first sub our entire tactic was to just keep punting it straight back to Bradford and hope we'll get a lucky bounce / survive the game. Certainly not the fault of those five, although HRK didn't do a lot first half either.

Norwood shows so many glimpses of quality but just seems to play like a total fukwit half the time. He's the one player who can put his foot on it and play a decent ball, even on that pitch (when not under pressure) and he's the worst offender in midfield for long punts to no one. His set pieces are 85% dire as well.

The game didn't really suit Williams. He's at his best when he can win a ball in midfield and then drive forward. On that pitch it wasn't possible and Bradford just hunted every one of our players down in packs.

All in all, a very tough fixture got out of the way successfully and we should have a better chance of winning at home where more of our players can actually put in their natural game.

Ref and officials were a bit suspect at times but only on minor stuff.

Parky's coming home.

Also worth taking a moment to praise the ref - overall one of the most sensible performances I've seen in a long time.

Not pretty but did any of us really expect it to be - particularly on that pitch. I was surprised with the team SC put out. No McCleary and Gunter who work together well? I was surprised Norwood was included too but it made sense if he was playing 5 in mid-field. SC obviously was setting the side out not to lose and that aim he, and they, achieved.

Only watched on TV but I thought Chabolah was our MOTM and Hector did very well too. Norwood's crossing was, in the main, poor; Mackie worked his socks off as we have come to expect; Pearce battled hard with Hanson in the air and I hope his nose isn't broken!! I don't think our home league form will be relevant in the replay and we will be in the semi-final draw on Monday! What's not to like?

Strange replay on a Monday

Prob benefits us as we have Brighton home on Tues and a derby at Watford before then - they have 2 aways (Tues & Sat) so will prob have to travel down on the Sunday

And I gave up the mouth watering prospect of watching Hanworth Villa v Windsor for that....

Horrible spectacle.

Worth mentioning that in the 70s and 80s that would have been considered a pretty decent pitch and players would have played pretty decent football on it, but it seems nobody considers that even a possibility these days.

Played the conditions well, but at times needed to look up before playing long. Thought every man played well but Pog and Mackie both put in a decent shift.

Bit of trouble in the concourse early in the second half, fighting between Reading and the police looked to be 2/3 arrested.

Pearce seemed to take a very nasty knock, would be good to see Cooper if he isn't fit for Tuesday!
