Chris Gunter contract extended

it [color=#000000][/color]has been confirmed on reading fc website Gunter has had his contract extended, i think this is a good move but unfortunately could spell the end for kelly in a reading shirt

Unfortunately? Great news on both counts. Kelly isn't worth the big wages he'll be on. Happy to see him go and Keown provide back-up for Gunter.

With Cummings moving on we had to keep hold of one of Kelly or Gunter and move on the other with Keown as cover. Kelly offers more defensively, Gunter offers more going forward. I guess it could be an indicator of Clarke's future plans.

Also shows Gunter isn't on a massive wedge either, as we've taken the option as opposed to offering a new (and revised) contract. Agree it's the end of Kelly.
