genome Will Blackpool be releg8ed if we beat them?

As far as I can tell they most they'll be able to get to is 41 points if we lose, so they won't be unless Rotherham beat Brighton on Monday.

If Blackpool lose to Bolton on Saturday the most they can get is 41. If they lose to us it becomes 38 and Rotherham have already got 40 so the answer to the original question is yes, they could be relegated if we beat them.

In fact if they lose today a draw on Tuesday would send them down

Bizarrely, with a few bookies our odds to be relegated have SHORTENED to 50-1

You can get 80-1

Those are poor odds. 8 points clear of Millwall who have 6 games left when we have 8

Yeah, right.

Millwall now have to get 1.5 points per game
and we have to lose 7 on the trot to go down.

Still 80-1

Strange that Wigan are 7-2 to stay up but you can get 7-1 for Millwall
who are above them.

I guess Millwall must have a tough run-in

Not all that strange given Wigan's history with great escapes.

After today Wigan are well off the radar. only a slight worry about Millwall putting a few results together.

For us to go down Millwall, Fulham and Rotherham all need to go on a run.

Desperation or resignation ?

Wigan have just sacked Mackay.

Harpers So Solid Crew McDermott to Wigan!!!!

Hasn't he recently taken up a chief scouting role at Arsenal? I'd have thought he'd want a bigger and more settled club than Wigan if he was ready to step back into the manager game. He shouldn't be in League One, he deserves a middle of the road Championship club at least.

Yep and I wouldn't be surprised if he took the scouting role at Arsenal for a break from management, I reckon he'll eventually return to football management but not at a club in turmoil like Wigan.

Avon Royal Adkins more likely.......

He played for them in goal, he had a decent track record before he came here, so I would say he`s the favourite
