Not impressed by Sa in the slightest. He was very poor for the most part, and for a big man he just couldn't stay on his feet (sound familiar?). Unless Clarke made him penalty taker, it made no sense for him to step up and take it. Cox won the penalty and was much fresher than the knackered Sa to give it some welly.

The walking off without acknowledging the fans came across very poorly to me. For someone who clearly understands the player/fan relationship (see his Twitter account), it was poor form for him not to acknowledge the travelling support after costing us a point. I just get this feeling that he thinks he's a lot better than the 2nd tier in England, when in reality the evidence suggests differently.

I don't want to write Sa off completely after one competitive game, but I'm fearful we have another Pog on our hands here with a 3 year deal.

Gunter 6 - thought it was an improved performance from Gunter, but made no challenge to stop the cross for their second

Why mention that but not the fact that he set up our goal?

One game wazzock, one game and you post that when most and journalist say he was decent. He can also be forgiven for not acknowledging fans if that's what he did because he would be embarrassed with that penalty miss.

Couldn't disagree more on the Sa bashing ^

Occupied two centre halfs for the majority of the game, showed some nice touches & was slightly more mobile than Pog, and he's not fully fit. Reminded me of Jason Roberts. If he gets service he will score goals.

Agreed, he certainly looked an improvement on Pogrebnyak (then again that isnt too difficult)

But what I liked about Orlando was he actually looked to control the ball, bring it down and make a pass or beat his man, which he managed on a few occasions. He's not as strong as someone like Glenn Murray but he won more in the air than Pog usually does as well.

Not sure whether we as a team will really play to his strengths though, not even sure we do with any striker. This was highlighted by the fact Orlando didnt have a shot on goal apart from the penalty. I walked straight out in disbelief after Cox put the rebound wide so didnt see Sa walk off on his own but I expect he was just too upset and gutted with himself and he couldn't face it.

Did anybody else feel that Bond could have done better with their second goal. The header was from quite a long way out and I felt he could have got closer to it.

Construct a proper paragraph first, then we'll talk about credibility.

I thought it sounded better than "didn't realise it was him that crossed it and couldn't be arsed to edit the original"

But he's still shit.

Actually thought Gunter had a good game. He got a lot of criticism last year for the amount of crosses that got into the box from his side, and he got ripped a new one by Gray last year. I can't remember one cross that came in from Gunter's side and you can't fault him for the second goal either, if Hector puts it into row Z then Gunter doesn't have to run back just to get goal side of Hector's man

I'm in agreement with this. He also had the audacity to post an Instagram image saying how disappointed he was not to get a result. It was his fault we didn't.

Audacity?!

Would you not be disappointed if you'd missed a last minute penalty, thus costing your team a well-deserved point?
