Leeds (H) Prediction thread

by Royal Ginger » 13 Aug 2015 11:05

Hurtado straight in? How do we fix the snooze fest that was Colchester? Can we overturn Leeds? Who will they break now Karacan's gone?

Team i recon will be fielded:
-----------------------Bond----------------------
Gunter--McShane---Ferdinand--Obita
HRK----Norwood----Williams----Quinn
-------------Blackman--Sa--------------------

Subs: Al-Habsi, Taylor, Ferdinand, Tshibola, Hurtado, Stacey, Cox

Score:
1-1 Williams late equaliser

They will kick the shit out of:
Norwood

Team I want:

Bond; Gunter, Ferdinand, McShane, Obita; Tshibola, Williams, Norwood, Quinn; Blackman, Sa
Subs: Al-Habsi, Keown, Hector, Kuhl, Hurtado, HRK, Cox

Team I think it will (and probably should) be:

Bond; Gunter, Hector, McShane, Obita; HRK, Norwood, Williams, Quinn; Blackman, Sa
Subs: Al-Habsi, Taylor, Ferdinand, Tshibola, Hurtado, Stacey, Cox

2-0 to Reading, Sa and Norwood to score.

bond
Gunter Ferdinand Mcshane Obita
Hurtado Williams Norwood HRK
Cox Sa

I think Hector could do with the rest and with Ferdinand on form it makes sense to rest him. Sa needs someone to play off he holds the ball up well but he needs someone to play with. Cox is the best option atm and I think it makes more sense to play a 442 and try and get the ball up the pitch pressing. would be nice to see some link up play between Norwood, Sa, Cox and Hurtado further up the field with this team 2-0 reading

Leeds looked alright against Burnley but I think we hold them to a draw.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say Orlando Sa won't ever score in a Reading shirt.

1-1 and Blackman to net

I can unfortunately see those northern gits nicking three points.

Late header by some whippet-training bitter drinker.

Not convinced Hurtado will play. Didn't they say they're still waiting on international clearance? How long does that usually take?

Choice would be:
-----------------------Bond----------------------
Gunter--McShane---Ferdinand--Taylor
Obita----Norwood----Williams----Quinn
-------------Blackman--Sa--------------------

Subs: Al-Habsi, Hector, Tshibola, , Stacey, Cox, Khul, nearly forgot HRK

Not available Hurtado, Pav, Cooper, McCleary, Samuel

Reading to assert themselves with 1- 0 win, Norwood freekick, and make up for that fluke Leeds win last season when they managed two shots, with both going in. This match has not produced many goals in recent years and has no sign to break the history.

Hopefully a win as I have a rather large wager on it with my head chef.. Norwood a good shout to score. He's been close! 2-1 royals Sa with the other
Bond
Gunter-Ferdinand-McShane-Obita
Norwood---Quinn
Blackman--Williams--HRK
-----Sa-----

Assuming Hurtado isn't ready:

Bond
Gunter.. Hector.. McShane.. Obita
Blackman.. Norwood.. Tshibola.. Quinn
Williams
Sa

If he is fit stick him in on the right for Tish, drop Williams back and shift Blackman upfront

2-1 Reading
Sa, McShane.

Handy, Lewis Cook has just seen red at Donny, one of Leeds' better players. Won't be making the journey to the royal County on Sunday.
