No way its not his fault if played out of position, always gives 101%, Coxey is class and he will come good again.

theroyalsaregoingup after watching simon cox last night its clear to see he's nowhere near good enough to play in the championship and brings nothing to the team, so why don't he and reading just do us all a favour and give him mutual termination?

Are you aware of how contracts work?

ummmm let me think??? thats why its called a MUTUAL TERMINATION

Is that like a Dutch rudder?

Cox is bloody awful, i would rather see novakovich play. I don't care how much effort he puts in if he's not good enough. If i played id put in 110% doesn't mean the fans would or should love me. Don't care if he stays or goes just don't put him anywhere near the football pitch.

Remind me, how well was he doing in terms of goals scored last season prior to the arrival of Clarke?

Wasn't at West Brom and won't be here.

Nonsense. Cox was leaving West Brom that summer long before Clarke was announced manager.

Didn't Cox say something about not holding a grudge after Clarke binned him at WBA? Sure GetReading ran it. That sounded like it was Clarke's call.

Nah he'd gone to forest before we appointed Clarke

One of our best players for the first half of last season and was our top scorer despite being shite for the whole of 2015. I like him, but don't think he's gonna get a sniff in now.

How quickly people forget. Even if he wasn't good enough, why should he walk away from his contract? It's not like anyone else would or has. And that includes plenty who have consistently failed to contribute over their entire time here, not just part of it like Cox.

Last night tells us nothing. He was never a striker to lead a line. He needs the right players around him just like many others. His confidence is shot so he's in a bad run of form. Probably won't turn it around under the circumstances, but that's no call for this reaction.

It's pathetic and childish.

Assuming my first guess is out and you're actually over 15, that is no surprise given the lack of brains and judgement you're displaying.

I'm slightly baffled why Clarke thought it would be a good idea to play him as what I assume was the lead striker. Partnered to Sa and with some width, maybe he'd come good... but I can't see any other combination working for him.

Lack of available options. We got the result on the night. Time to move on.
