All credit to Nick Blackman, starting to show what he can do and is also scoring goals. Amazing what a change of manager and better squad spirit can do....

Up to 13th :)

Top 6 in table looking strong. Ipswich next will be a decent test for our credentials for the rest of the season.

He got three goals in the first nine games under Adkins last season, looking one of our better attackers. The big deal is if he can sustain it over a longer period this time.

Lovely stuff :!:

Could do without Jeff Stelling giving it the euphoric "late goal at Griffin Park" bit, the little tease

Please please please do not let this result delude the people who run our club into believing we don't desperately need another striker :!:

Good day, sounds like the guys done well, pleased for Blackman who has had to endure his fair amount of critisism on here since he arrived.

Hasn't Clarke said that in training they are concentrating on getting Blackman to be more aware of players around him and training him to be more effective in front of goal. Seems to be working. :)

I'm not surprised. Hasn't Blackman been one of the standout players since this season began? He has seemed much more confident and capable

I'm starting to get a feel good factor about this team. They are gelling slowly imo. Still need a striker though.

He was excellent, but holding his groin for most of the first half.

Actually thought we looked much less balanced with McCleary playing out wide, whereas Kanu was always cutting in and making life difficult for them.

Yes, a direct freekick and a penalty proves this.

I quite like the look of Sa. A big striker who can hold it, turn and run at defenders.

Was in the air for an age to score his goal today - terrific leap.

He needs a quick strike partner, an Adam Le Fondre type to nip around and collect his lay offs.

Or some more depth to the squad. Long season ahead.
