Looking through the team line up thread. Boro may be good but so are we... Very decent.

A draw would be fairly good but I think we have a good chance of winning.

On that note:

3-1

Blackmanx2, Norwood x1

CountryRoyal
genome He could've and should've done better for Derby's winner.

And drops more balls than an amputee wicket keeper.

Double or single amputee?

0-0 . Think both sides would take a draw as a good result and will set up not to lose. Cagey game with few chances.

This is going to be a very tough test, Clarksons make or break. If we score early then we are in with a chance of points, if no score at the break then 0-0 or a 1-0 defeat. I really think we should have signed a proven striker.

Vydra's record at Championship level is 46 in 83 games, that's pretty proven.

Can't see it ending in a draw.

1-2 Boro.

I predict trouble when Boro disabled supporters come looking for revenge on the Scorpians after the minibus incident.

This match looks like a draw. Don't think that they've beaten us since 2009 ish. 1-1 goals scored in the 61st and 84th minute....

I know we've scored now but before the game I would have said it would have been goal in it either way, and a 1-0 or 2-1 win for us. Would have said if we can get an early goal again we could wreck Boro's game plan if they play for a draw and we've had the perfect start so I'll say 2-1 to us

janesdaddy The match against Middlesbrough on the opening day of the 2006/07 season was my first live game at the MadStad (I'd just moved to Whitley  after living in the United States for 10 years). It was a fantastic match, where we came from 1-2 down to win 3-2, so I always enjoy it when we beat them. I think we will on Saturday, too, even if it's only by one goal. I think it'll be a 2-1 home win.

We actually went 2-0 now in about 20 minutes and many of us feared the worst but like the previous season we never looked beaten and came back into with 2 in 2 minutes from Kitson and Sidwell just before half time before my favourite player at the time Lita smashed in the winner in the second half to cap an amazing day and a special one in our history as the magic of the 106 season continued..

tee peg HRK Getting in to his stride. 2-0 HRK + Gunter.

And one of us managed to predict the score today

There is ZERO chance of us keeping a clean sheet, with their attacking threats and us having Bond (Licence to spill) in goal!

I know this is a hostage to fortune, but...

They failed to score against Preston away, failed to score home to Bristol City (and lost),
only scored 1 versus Derby.

I think we are a little better than Preston/Derby and equal to or edging Derby.

This is a huge game, a huge test, no doubt and I can't say I have good vibes about it
but if we are genuine contenders these are the kind of sides we need to beat.

A clean sheet would be a start. Maybe Bond will have a blinder (has to happen eventually)
and we sneak home by a goal or a goal plus a late killer, and Boro fans go home crying,
saying they should have scored six

That'll do me!
