4EVARFC I think we're getting a bit carried away.

Lucky early goals have changed games in our favour. Games we would otherwise lose.

The fact of the matter is we lose all our games when were not lucky.

Boro had so much possession they made us look average, which we are.

The only good players are loan players who'll be gone in a few weeks and we'd never keep them if we did go up.

The Thais have done nothing except bring in the above loanees who aren't really ours.

Clarke is a bit clueless given he relies on loanees and early goal luck.

Nothing to see here, move on. I suspect we'll fight off relegation but wouldn't bank on it.

The only plus point is our excellent goalkeeping ability, but I suspect they will also fade into mediocrity as they tire out in this long season.

Oh.. I forgot to mention the official Royals music video. That's the only other plus point to the season, as at long last I can hold my head up high as a Reading fan with such a powerful, moving and inspiring video. Come the end of the season we may be left with an empty squad when all the loanees go back, playing League 1 footy but at least we'll have the song.

Other than that you're all just RTG wearers.

I have to agree, we are not always going to get an early goal
That is what changed the game and nothing else
Boro build attacks and wear teams down through the quality they have, that cannot be denied
Could anyone of you see 2-0 if we didnt get the the early goal?? no chance
Lets keep our feet on the ground lads

But we DID get the early goal so there is no argument, not covering yourself in glory there newbie,

A good post, I did predict points if we could get an early goal, lucky for us the the Ref was a homer, that was never a penalty and Sa should have been booked for his comical diving antics.
We really need a proven striker.

It's no surprise taipeiroyal has such a developed sense of humour considering his fellow countrymen and women wear hello kitty back packs and take selfies doing cheesy peace signs whilst trying their best to imitate an overgrown retarded chipmunk.

Figured you were no Royal. Just except that you were beaten by a better team, hands down. You'll go up, behind us!

Just seen the highlights. Not sure how that was a penalty. Quite enjoyed the fact that 90% of the 10 minutes was us attacking or breaking on boro despite that it felt at the match that they had 90% of the possession, still, you do have to actually do somethign with it..

Haven't said anything about him yet, but I thought the ref was astoundingly bad. Missed a blatant push on Sa early on, plus another few fouls, but gave boro absolutely everything in the first 15 minutes. Got a bit better as the game went on, though how Obita's mildest of tugs was a freekick I don't know (although Jordan had no need to do it in the first place).

Best thing about it is seeing just how utterly stunned Downing and the boro defenders look in the aftermath of Williams burying his header.

You had your opportunity to bite for all of 90 minutes but didn't muster a decent suck. Good luck for the rest of the season mr middleB.

Complacency goes with the territory of being involved with Reading since 1983. Ask me on any other year, with the exception of 05/06, if we had a winning team and I'd say no. We're a down to earth lot at Reading who know how to except defeat. Take a leaf middleB fan. You lost it's ok.

I think one of the interesting things about yesterday was that SC fielded 7 players from last season (it was raised on BBCRB) in the starting 11.

The differences were Al Habsi, McShane, Sa and Piazon. It underlines how well the changes that SC have made a positive impact on those players remaining. It also suggests SC was very shrewd with not only who he let go, but also those he kept (Feds is of course the exception that proves the rule).
