The Prisoner
Pepe the Horseman
The Prisoner Know one of his friends. He doesn't want to go. Happy here, but not been offered a new contract. This is the club shipping him out. Simples.

Well, you were spot on with the Neil Lennon shout, so I guess this must be true.

Absolutely! :D :D :D :D

I am in NW England and someone who is involved at BWFC gave me that. I think the fact that they are still cocking around with administration put payed to it as apparently NL refuses to walk and they can't afford to sack him. There was defo *something* there, but paying a team who are on the edge of the abyss does seem daft whether you rate NL or not.

genome Not buying all this hogwash about us throwing in the towel.

Hardly a sign of intent selling just about the only goal threat we have in a team who can barely score

What seemed like a mission looks nigh on impossible now

Winston Smith If the Telegraph are correct and he will join Derby for £2M tomorrow, then that is an absolute astounding amount of money for a bloke who only has 4 months left of contracted football with us and has been as close to dog sh*t as possible in almost every month of the 3 years he was with us.

BBC Radio Derby just confirmed the deal is agreed and he will sign tomorrow for a £2.5M transfer fee.

Very, very good money. Good business for RFC there.

Got to balance the books and make sure the future is safe but if we can put a good chunk of it towards a transfer fee for an incoming player (with opex costs coming from another pot) then we could do seriously well this January.

I don't know what the use is of saying positives about Vydra scoring more if Blackman goes. Vydra won't be with us in 20 games time as tight old Reading would never buy him anyway. We might as well send Vydra back to Watford and sign a promising striker from league 1 or 2 if that's the rationale for selling Blackman.

Considering he had 4 months of football left for us, and up until around 4 months ago most people (including me) would have been happy to see him go for free, such was his contribution until then, it's pretty good business.

True, I'd be amazed if this is fake, but working in graphics and media, I'm always careful about saying something I see on the internet is real without proof

Another good deal from Hammond. £2.5 mill for a player with 6 months left is a steal! Especially one who is as inconsistent as Blackman!

Considering he got that when he played for us, I'm guessing this is a given
