I think it is actually against the rules for a player to play against his parent club while on loan.

This. About 10 years ago someone played against their parent club and scored. Made some big headlines at the time. FA changed the rules after that.

I had assumed Spurs would beat Palace but as they haven't then this is the best tie we could have after Man U/Shrewsbury. And it's at home - winnable!!!

If we win this then we will be a second tier side in the semi-final of the FA cup in consecutive seasons. When was the last time that was achieved and by whom? Snowball?
